Weekly Summary for Grapes

Grape Growing Degree Days – During the past week, temperatures were near normal in the San Joaquin Valley but slightly below normal to normal in other grape growing regions.  Growing degree-days range from 2 days ahead to 10 days behind normal.  In 2008, we are 2 to 6 days behind 2007.    

Grape Powdery Mildew Index – The PMI index is currently in the "low" pressure range.  The PMI will be updated in March 2008. 

Bloom Time Projections – Bloom time projections & actual bloom time dates in the San Joaquin Valley and the Coastal Areas for 2008 are posted. 

Grape OLR Treatment Window – The treatment windows for OLR has been posted for Fresno and Madera County based on biofix dates.
