Grape Growing Degree Days –Degree-day accumulations for all areas have lost 1-4 days.  On average, the Northern SJV is 8 days ahead of normal while Central SJV is 14 days ahead and the Southern SJV is 4 days ahead; 26 days behind on the Central Coast; and 1 day behind on the Northern Coast.   Compared to 2008, 2009 is 0 to 2 days ahead in the Northern and Central SJV, while Southern Valley, Northern Coast and the Central Coast are 5 to 8 days behind.
