Fast Turnaround
We can usually have your analysis completed within 4 to 6 days.
Quality Control
We carefully monitor our quality as we process thousands of samples each year.
Fertilizers to Apply
We interpret your analysis and based on your fertilization history, provide a written report with specific recommendations for fertilizers to apply.
Field Sampling
We can sample your fields or show you how to do it yourself.
How to Sample
We provide sampling instructions in a
Free Sampling Kit.
When to Sample
This varies by crop but it has been standardized through University research.
Grapevines
The standardized time for determining the nutritional status of grapes is at bloom time. Peak bloom normally occurs between mid-May and mid-June, depending on the area and the grape variety. Follow up sampling and analysis for specific nutrients can be done in mid-summer.
Projections of when grape bloom will occur are maintained in the spring of each year by AgQuest.
AgQuest provides a complete analysis of grape petioles along with a graphic interpretation of the results.

Tree Crops
The standardized time for determining the nutritional status of most tree crops is in mid-summer (June or July). Some tree crops are sampled late in the season (i.e. walnuts, citrus, etc.). Follow-up sampling and analysis for specific nutrients can be done after the initial sampling. AgQuest provides a complete analysis of tree leaf samples along with a graphic interpretation of the results.

AgQuest will process soil and tissue samples for any field crop and provide an interpretation of the results, along with recommendations for fertilizers to apply. We also offer Fertility Management programs which integrate preplant soil analysis with regular tissue sampling and analysis during the growing season

The chemical characteristics of irrigation water can have a direct influence on water infiltration into the soil and the uses of the water for flood, sprinkler, or drip irrigation. AgQuest provides the chemical analysis of water samples and a written report tailored to the planned use of the water.

Nematode and other soil pests (i.e. phylloxera for grapes), can have a dramatic impact on crop production. Soil pest analysis will effect the choice of varieties to plant for both field crops and permanent crops and on the chemicals used to treat for these pests. AgQuest has an extensive experience base to assist growers in the selection of crop varieties which are resistant to specific soil
pests and in choosing possible materials for treatment. To arrange for AgQuest to sample your fields or for a Free Sampling Kit, call us at (559) 275-8095 or send us an

Testing for viruses and diseases is a very specialized area of laboratory analysis. AgQuest has extensive experience in interpreting test results and providing growers with an understanding of how to manage crops for viruses and diseases identified.
