(1)The treatment window of 700 - 900 degree-days is well established for "stomach poison" types of control materials (i.e.Kryolite®) However, for IGR type materials (i.e. Intrepid®) an earlier timing at about 500 degree-days may be considered.
(2)The bio-fix dates and degree-day calculations are taken directly from the weekly 'Sticky Notes' web publication which can be found at www.ipm2go.com/PestReports. This web page provides information for a number of pests including Omnivorous Leafroller.
(3)Based on the first bio-fix dates, the second flight bio-fix would occur at 1,200 degree-days.

Research work has shown that the most effective time to control Omnivorous Leafrollers (OLR) is between 700 to 900 degree-days after the first "biofix" date for each generation. The first moth flight (biofix date) in the spring usually occurs in mid March. The "treatment windows" are based on the biofix dates for each generation. Using the actual temperatures which have occurred to date, then assuming normal temperatures, the optimum treatment windows for OLR are shown above.
